- House Rules
- - “What You See is What You Get” will be enforced. Conversions are fine. Using one item as another, such as a Bolter as a Plasma Gun or a Land Speeder Typhoon as a Land Speeder Tornado, is not.
- - The Warhammer 40K 5th Edition Rules and all relevant Games Workshop Errata and FAQs will be used.
- - New Codexes and Rulebooks will be usable the following month (e.g., if it comes out in June, it will be usable in July’s tournament).
- - Forgeworld and Imperial Armor units are not allowed.
- - Unless otherwise noted, each tournament will consist of three 1-hour and 45 minute games. There will be time warnings when 30 minutes, 20 minutes, and 10 minutes remain.
- - No further game turns may be started after the 10 minute warning. If time is called and the game has not ended, the players will be given 15 minutes to finish the game turn. If after 15 minutes the game has not ended it will be considered a draw. Obvious slow playing or stalling during these 15 minutes will result in a loss for the offender.
- - All tournaments will be played with Swiss style pairings with points awarded as follows: a win earns 3 points, a draw earns 1 point, and a loss earns no points.
- - Tiebreakers will be based on Strength of Schedule.
- - Player’s point totals for each tournament will be tracked throughout the year. At the end of the year, a special prize will be awarded to the player with the most points.
- - Each player will bring 2 copies of his army list, one for the judge and one to keep with him. Players will share their copy with their opponents if requested. Show up early if you need to create your army list.
